"FLY BUS FLY" IS A STATEMENT WITH ITERATIONS THAT ARE AS PLENTIFUL AS THEY ARE INTERPRETIVE. IT IS A CANVAS FOR ITS READER TO COLOR WITH HIS OR HER OWN EMOTIONS. STATEMENTS OF HOPE, SADNESS, JOY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN ARE JUST A FEW PUNCTUATION MARKS AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER.
"FLY BUS, FLY!"

it is a phrase that holds multiple meanings; that can be redefined and repurposed to fit the current situation*. at its core, this is exactly what "fly bus fly" is about: finding new purposes for pre-defined objects; choosing the lens with which we view the world; and, of course, teaching a bus how to fly.
we invite you to join us as we attempt to complete a project that began nearly six years ago in the mississippi delta: the creation of a vehicle that has just as many purposes as a statement with no punctuation.

AURORA 2015
"FLY BUS FLY" MADE ITS FIRST PUBLIC LANDING AT AURORA 2015: A FREE CONTEMPORARY ART EXHIBITION CENTERED IN THE 68-ACRE DALLAS ARTS DISTRICT. our installation, "face to face with the creative process," included three juxtaposed video projections on the exterior of the bus that ran contemporaneously and an interior video projection on the ceiling of the bus.
